Alan is the Managing Director of Applicable, and represents Applicable on the Senior Management Team of NTT Coud Communications Division.

Alan joined Applicable in 2001 to lead sales and marketing and product management; he was rapidly promoted to Managing Director after two years, overseeing a transition to multi-vendor service provision and the company’s entry into Unified Communications with revenues increasing from £1.4M to more than £12.4M.

A former product manager at UK telco BT and Lotus Development, he has specialized in collaboration, cloud services and digital transformation in enterprise organizations throughout his career.  Alan also held IT Service Management roles at British Gas and Barclays Bank in the UK.

Alan is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from Loughborough University.

Liz is our Head of Finance – a pragmatic finance professional with over 30 years’ experience, Liz has worked in a variety of sectors including Financial Services, Food Retail and Importing and in organisations ranging from owner-run businesses to a global service provider.

Liz joined Applicable in 2009 and is committed to working closely with business stakeholders to share meaningful and user-friendly financial support to facilitate informed business decision-making and drive achievement of financial goals.

Liz studied at the University of the West of England and is a Chartered Management Accountant.

Mark is Chief Technology Officer of Applicable Limited, an NTT company specialising in cloud-based communications.

In his role as CTO Mark leads the technology direction and development of the business both internally and with enterprise customers. Mark has deep experience in delivering real-time applications across private, public and hybrid clouds with a particular focus on collaboration, voice and video, working with global customers to deliver scalable, secure UC solutions for Microsoft, Zoom and Cisco based clouds. Working to ensure enterprise customers realise the return from their cloud and UC investments, Mark recently returned to the UK after spending eight years in California growing the business, connecting closely with partners on the west coast.

Prior to his role at Applicable Mark held senior roles in professional and managed services at BT and HP and holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science.

Hannah is Head of Human Resources at Applicable and is responsible for all aspects of human resources, internal communication and health and safety globally.

Hannah joined the organisation in 2014 and has been responsible for the evolution of HR at Applicable. She has developed and implemented the human resources strategy, whilst maintaining and building the personality of Applicable and actively contributing to our business objectives.

Hannah is passionate about people and communication and has over 20 years of business experience within sales, recruitment, and human resources. She has worked in a variety of sectors and organisations, EMAP, Elan Computing, Ernst and Young, Bristol Care & Repair and Milestones Trust.

Hannah holds MA in Human Resource Management and a CIPD diploma from Kingston University in London and a BA (Hons) in Human Geography and Management from Leeds University.

Richard Seamarks holds the position of Head of Service Delivery at Applicable.

In his role, Richard is responsible for the operational service delivery at Applicable.  He oversees the 24 x 7 Service Desk, Service Management and Infrastructure and Cloud Services teams, alongside being responsible for enabling business growth via strategic continuous improvement.

An experienced operational leader, Richard has a results-oriented leadership style.  Before joining Applicable, Richard was a Senior Manager in BT plc holding various positions in Business Improvement, Customer Operations and Product Management.

Richard has a Bachelor of Science in Computing and Management from Loughborough University.

John is Head of Project Delivery and leads the Professional Services, Project Management, Onboarding and Service Transition teams.

John has held several roles while at Applicable. He joined in 2012 to ensure the successfully delivery of Applicable’s UC and Data Centre infrastructure. He later established the Professional Services team, then stepping up to Head of Project Delivery, championing the governance model that ensures complex global projects are delivered efficiently and successfully for our enterprise customers. He is now proud to be responsible for our world class delivery organisation and the way it helps transform our customer businesses.

John started his career as a COBOL programmer back in the 80s. He has worked in software development, manufacturing, consulting and mobile telecoms. He has held senior roles for Orange, EE, France Telecom and T-Systems. He has studied Computer Science and Theology and is also an ordained Deacon in the Catholic church.

Mark joined Applicable in 2016 and is responsible for the operation of the Applicable sales team driving opportunity across multiple channels, working closely with partners and their customers to deliver complex voice solutions.

Mark has over 20 years of experience in sales and channel management. Mark’s experience has allowed him to successfully work with industry-leading companies specialising in providing private cloud hosted and hybrid (public/private and on premises) solutions to enterprise organisations and the development of their channel strategy and routes to market. Mark has a wealth of industry experience and is perfectly positioned to drive our sales activities and objectives.
